The B22380 Wall Mounted Bedpan Sluice Sink offers a high quality and durable solution to the cleaning of bedpans and the hygienic disposal of solid and liquid waste. The solution is perfect for hospitals, clinics, assisted living facilities, general health care and other institutional facilities. The unit is designed to withstand arduous daily use whilst still being ergonomic for staff to use. The bedpan sluice sink is made from Grade 304 Stainless Steel which ensures the unit meets the high hygienic standards demanded by medical environments. Visible stainless steel surfaces are finished with a satin polish stainless steel finish ensuring the unit can be easily cleaned and maintained. The unit’s top slab has a vermin proof bitumastic sound deadening coating underneath to prevent drumming noises. The top slab features a sloped drip ledge preventing dirtying of the washing area. The unit also features an integral splashback to the rear which further prevents dirtying of the washing area. For environments that need additional protection, an extended splashback can be supplied as optional.

The B22380 Wall Mounted Bedpan Sluice Sink features a sluice bowl designed for the efficient washing of bedpans. The sluice bowl can be orientated either left-hand or right-hand. An integral flushing rim is built into the sluice bowl to ensure waste can be disposed of hygienically and in a water-efficient manner. Flushing water can be provided by either a flush valve or a cistern. Where municipal water pressure is available a flush valve is recommended. In rural applications where water pressure may not be available, then a stainless steel cistern may be required. The bedpan sluice sink can be configured with either a rear entry or tup entry flush pipe making it perfect for use with either a concealed or exposed flushing system. At the bottom of the sluice sink, there is a standard outlet suitable for connection to PVC sewerage system and can be used with either a P-Trap or an S-Trap. The sluice sink also includes both a bedpan spray nozzle and bottle spray nozzle allowing for easy cleaning of both bedpans and bedpan bottles.

The B22380 Wall Mounted Bedpan Sluice Sink is easy to install with securing to the wall being made possible with the heavy-duty stainless steel wall mounting brackets. Where additional support is required, the unit can be supplied with optional front support legs. Whilst greater support is provided, the front support legs do make cleaning behind the unit harder. The front support legs include adjustable foot pieces for easy levelling of the unit on the floor.
