The Basterfield B17710 Curved Back Recessed Trough Urinal is a vandal resistant curved back slab urinal perfect for schools, universities, public institutions and other amenities that require an economical urinal solution. The unit is designed to be installed into a recessed trough in the floor making it perfect for direct replacement of old ceramic slab urinals. Supplied with integral side ends with a tiling key, the unit can be mounted between two walls. Should a free standing installation be required, the integral side ends can be specified as free standing. Manufactured from Grade 304 Stainless Steel, the curved back trough urinal is extremely durable whilst still offering a high sanitary urinal. The urinal also features a concealed sparge pipe which prevents vandalism to the sparging system. The one-piece construction ensures there are no gaps or crevices making the urinal easy to clean. All of our urinals are manufactured with a 70mm waste outlet hole that can be specified as centred, left-hand or right-hand. Designed with the requisite fall, urine is efficiently drained from the unit ensuring a sanitary urinal. The large trough projection and sloped drip ledge ensure an ergonomic unit whilst preventing dripping. The urinal back panel is sound deadened with vermin proof bitumastic material so as to eliminate drumming. Supplied with a top water inlet, the unit can be easily connected to the cistern system and flushing valve.
